Hidden Corners Editorial Team
Hidden Corners guides are researched and written by the site’s editorial desk and reviewed before publication under our editorial policy. Rather than invent colorful personal bios, we’d rather tell you how the work is actually done.
How a guide gets made
A destination starts as a candidate list entry with a simple test: is it genuinely rewarding, genuinely lesser-known, and genuinely able to receive visitors? Research then runs against official and local primary sources, practical details are verified or deliberately generalized, and a second reader reviews the piece before it ships. The “last verified” date on each guide is the desk’s promise about freshness.
What we won’t write
First-person scenes that didn’t happen, reviews of businesses we haven’t used, ratings pulled from thin air, or coordinates for places that attention would damage. If a detail on the site reads as cautious, that’s the policy working.
